What was DECA?

The Danube Energy Communities Accelerator (DECA) project brings together 12 organisations from the wider Danube region of SE Europe, to collaborate on developing support for community energy action across the region. The Danube Energy Communities Accelerator (DECA) empowers citizens and communities across the Danube Region to lead the clean energy transition. By developing shared training programmes and toolkits, and regional acceleration hubs, DECA aims to strengthen community-owned and managed energy initiatives that boost local resilience, energy independence, and common prosperity.
